Peter Gillespie grew up and worked in his family's construction business. His father instilled upon him that things that are built right will last a long time.Along with the knowledge of residential construction learned along-side his father, Peter has also completed a certified program in Home Inspection through Dalhousie University. This course was designed in accordance with the ASHI/CAPHI Standards of Practice. Home Inspections performed to these standards are intended to provide the client with information regarding the condition of systems and components of the home at the time of inspection.Peter also has written and passed courses with W.E.T.T. on code compliance, wood burning systems and SITE basic inspection. All of this is to help the client feel confident that hey have hired a professional and not just a fellow with a ladder and flashlight.A purchased home will probably be the most expensive single item that anyone will buy. The people who make such a purchase would like to know "how sound is this purchase?" and "will this investment last a long time?". A home inspection report provided by an accredited Home Inspector will help provide this information.
