Louise has been a Realtor in the East Hants area since 1999. She specializes in the marketing of properties from cabins to castles and has a vast knowledge of the area which includes including Grand Lake and the Shubenacadie River. Her partnership with two other professional Realtors create a team of home marketing and buying experts that provides exceptional real estate services to buyers and sellers.

 At Mariposa Reading Achievement Centre, we work with students of all ages who are unable to master reading and spelling.The Mariposa Reading Program starts with letter-sound relationships, creating a strong basis for further work decoding words in a logical process of segmenting and blending. Most parents recognize this phonics approach, also known as phonemic awareness, from elementary school; but Mariposa reinforces the individual student’s understanding with creative exercises at each skill level. The program enables students to develop reading and spelling skills with single syllables, then multi-syllable words, sentences, paragraphs, and short stories.Sharon Prest is the Regional Manager for Mariposa Reading Achievement Centre Ltd.  She works out of the Elmsdale branch office.  Sharon takes great pride in helping students who struggle with reading and spelling.  She has made a tremendous difference in many students’ lives.  .  Sharon started working for Mariposa Reading Achievement Centre Ltd. in Truro in 1992.  When a branch office was opened in Elmsdale twelve years ago, Sharon became the supervisor of that Centre.  Since that time, she has become Regional Manager, overseeing the Centres in Elmsdale, Truro, Bridgewater, Yarmouth and Windsor.
